Care

What actually happens.

If you have never been, here is the whole thing, in order, so nothing catches you out.

Family time

The service opens with a greeting and time together — what is coming up, what the church is doing, and the opportunity to tithe or give. It is the least formal part of the afternoon and it is deliberate. You are being welcomed into a room, not seated at an event.

Worship

Worship comes right before the message, because it prepares hearts to hear it. It is not unusual for worship to turn into an altar call, or into the whole room praying for something that has just surfaced. The worship leaders follow the Holy Spirit rather than a running order.

The message

Pastor Alan preaches evangelistically. The associates teach. Between the two you get passion and depth, which is the point of having both.

There is an altar call at every service. We pray for the sick, and we pray for people individually — not as a crowd. Miss a week and every message is archived on YouTube.

What to wear

Jeans and a t-shirt. Genuinely.

Being honest about the room

If you are looking for a quiet, calm church, this will disappoint you. If you are looking for a church where anything goes, this is not that either.

If you want a church family that expects the Holy Spirit to move — heartfelt worship, Spirit-led messages, and teaching that goes deep into scripture rather than skating over it — you will recognise this room quickly.
